Childrens Classes

Discovery Club (Birth – 2 years)

Baby Church is held in the nursery rooms of the Main Sanctuary.  We believe that babies are created in God’s image and that He has a special plan for each of them.  We believe that even our littlest ones can learn and sense God’s love.  Regular learning experiences are planned, and lessons are reinforced with age appropriate songs, play, and activities.

What to Bring:

When packing a diaper bag for your child, please include:

• 1 or 2 disposable diapers
• A change of clothes
• Pacifier or other item, should your child need it for sercurity

Please label all personal items with your child’s first and last name.

When you check your child into Baby Church, you will be numbered wrist bands: one for you, one for your child, and one for your child’s belongings.  For your child’s safety, when you return, you must be wearing the arm band in order to check your child out of Baby Church.

Adventure Club (Age 3 to 5 years)

Adventure Club is held in the preschool chapel in the FMC.  It is filled with fun activities that encourage preschoolers to love God and to love one another.  At 9 AM there is a large group activity and classes designed for each age group.  At 10:00 AM kids ages 3 through 5 have the opportunity to worship God, explore His Word, and build relationships with other kids as well as members of a dedicated team of adult leaders.  Adventure Club has puppets, music, drama, games, and other activities that help kids experience God’s Word.

Quest Club (Kindergarten & 1st Grade)

Quest Club is a high energy service designed especially for Kindergarteners and 1st graders.  At 9 AM, kindergarteners go to Adventure Club and 1st graders go to Xtreme Club where they will experience a large group service followed by small groups for each age group.  At 10:00 AM, leaders help kids experience God in a large group setting through upbeat music, hands on ministry, prayer emphasis, a time of interactive video and drama that teaches God’s Word, and small group time to build healthy relationships with other kids and adults.

Xtreme Club (2nd – 5th Grade)

JBQ (2nd – 5th Grade)

Junior Bible Quiz Team: Kids meet to study God’s Word and memorize Scriptures in a game format. Competitive team members travel to other churches to compete in tournaments. Parental involvement is encouraged – in other words, come join the fun!
